About the role

Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing to ensure the software meets requirements and functions without defects
- Create detailed, well-structured test cases based on requirements, specifications and user stories
- Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies and test concepts covering the entire software lifecycle
- Identify, document and track software defects and support their resolution
- Execute tests according to WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines to ensure accessibility for all users
- Produce detailed test reports, especially for accessibility testing, and communicate results to the team
- Perform dynamic testing to verify that the software meets requirements for performance, security and reliability
- Actively participate in agile development teams and support continuous integration and delivery
Requirements
- Successfully completed training or degree in computer science, software development or a comparable qualification
- Proven practical experience in software testing, particularly manual testing of web and mobile applications
- Solid understanding of test methods, techniques and the creation of test concepts
- ISTQB certification or an equivalent qualification in software testing
- In-depth knowledge of the WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines and experience conducting accessibility tests
- A clean criminal record (police clearance certificate) is mandatory
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product owners and other stakeholders
- Knowledge of test automation is a plus but not required
- German language skills at C2 level or native-level proficiency
