Responsibilities
- Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to the needs of the business.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and transform them into effective data visualizations.
- Ensure high levels of performance and reliability across Power BI reports and datasets.
- Utilize advanced data modeling techniques to enhance report functionality.
- Monitor and optimize dashboard performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide support as necessary.
- Document processes for report development, data sources, and visualization best practices.
- Stay current with Power BI updates and best practices to incorporate new features and methods into your work.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar data visualization role.
- Deep understanding of Power BI, including DAX functions, data modeling, and report design.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience connecting multiple data sources including APIs, flat files, and databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present insights and collaborate with team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
