About the role

  • Architect, develop, and maintain real-time, event-driven, and API-based integrations.
  • Design scalable, secure, and observable integration solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Build and maintain real-time streaming, pub/sub, and webhook-based data exchange mechanisms.
  • Implement message queuing, retry, and dead-letter handling for fault-tolerant integrations.
  • Use Azure DevOps and Git for full CI/CD pipelines for integration solutions.
  • Configure logging, alerting, and monitoring with Azure Application Insights.
  • Develop custom connectors for platforms like Veeva and Dynamics 365.
  • Support data engineering and analytics teams by exposing integration endpoints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5–8 years of experience in data integration, automation, or middleware development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in:
  • Python (object-oriented and asynchronous programming)
  • Azure Functions (HTTP triggers, durable orchestrations, binding patterns)
  • Azure Logic Apps (workflow automation, system integration)
  • RESTful API design and consumption
  • Azure SQL
  • Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Azure logging, alerting, and monitoring tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor)
  • Visual Studio Code and related development tooling
  • Custom connector development and API management
  • Strong understanding of event-driven and real-time integration frameworks (pub/sub, Event Grid, Service Bus, Kafka, webhooks)
  • Working knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and C#
  • Experience in life sciences or healthcare industries is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Core expertise: Expert-level in Python, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, RESTful APIs, Azure DevOps (CI/CD), and data connectors
  • Integration & Automation: Real-time and event-driven integrations, pub/sub messaging, webhooks, and serverless workflows.
  • Monitoring & Reliability: Azure Application Insights, Log Analytics, alert rules, dashboards, and failure-recovery logic.
  • DevOps & Deployment: Azure DevOps pipelines, Git branching, YAML automation, Infrastructure as Code.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Azure ecosystem (ADF, ADLS, SQL, Event Grid, Service Bus), optional experience with Azure ML & OpenAI. AWS ecosystem (S3, Lambda, EventBridge, SNS, SQS)
  • Data Governance & Quality: Metadata management, data validation frameworks, logging and monitoring.
  • Programming & Tools: Python, REST APIs, C# (basic), Visual Studio Code, Postman
  • Soft skills: Good communication, mentoring, Agile teamwork, analytical thinking, collaboration.
