About the role
- Network Engineer managing network infrastructure in Google Cloud and Azure at logistics company. Ensuring reliability and performance of on-premise infrastructure while supporting cloud presence.
Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and maintain our Cisco Firepower
- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure in Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure (VPCs/VNETs, load balancers, security groups, peering).
- Administer and optimize our Cisco Meraki stack (SD-WAN, wireless, switching).
- Manage web security, DNS, and CDN services using Cloudflare Advanced DDoS and other tools.
- Manage and maintain Sonicwall CSE and Cisco VPN.
- Proactively monitor network health, performance, and security using SolarWinds.
- Serve as one of the primary escalation points for complex network connectivity and performance issues.
- Create and maintain accurate network diagrams and documentation.
Requirements
- 3 - 5+ years of hands-on experience in a network engineering role.
- Strong expertise in Cisco Firepower (policy, troubleshooting, deployment).
- Proven experience managing a Cisco Meraki full-stack environment.
- Hands-on experience with network configuration and services in GCP and/or Azure.
- Proficiency with SonicWall CSE and Cisco VPN.
- Experience leveraging Cloudflare Advanced DDoS for web security and performance.
- Demonstrable skill with network monitoring tools, specifically SolarWinds.
- Deep understanding of core networking protocols and concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, VLANs).
