About the role

• QA Analyst ensuring quality of BI pipelines and data transformations at Alithya. Collaborating with BI teams to automate testing and support data governance.

Responsibilities

• Test ETL/ELT processes and BI transformations;
• Validate Synapse integration, storage, and analytics components;
• Ensure data governance and data quality;
• Automate pipeline tests;
• Contribute to functional and integrated testing with BI and data teams.

Requirements

• Strong experience in BI/ETL;
• Deep knowledge of Synapse Analytics;
• Understanding of semantic models and BI pipelines;
• Comfortable with validation scripts and APIs;
• Technical expertise including:
• • Synapse Pipelines, Linked Services, Spark Notebooks;
• • Azure Storage, Key Vault, Functions;
• • Advanced networking & security (VNet, Private Endpoints, Subnets);
• • ETL/ELT, Medallion architecture;
• • BI tools: Semantic Models, Gateways;
• • Scripting: PySpark, PowerShell, Bash;
• • API testing: Postman.
• French: Advanced
• English: Intermediate
• Please note that intermediate English is required due to the nature of the tasks, including frequent communication with Quebec employees and managers.
