About the role
- QA Analyst ensuring quality of BI pipelines and data transformations at Alithya. Collaborating with BI teams to automate testing and support data governance.
Responsibilities
- Test ETL/ELT processes and BI transformations;
- Validate Synapse integration, storage, and analytics components;
- Ensure data governance and data quality;
- Automate pipeline tests;
- Contribute to functional and integrated testing with BI and data teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience in BI/ETL;
- Deep knowledge of Synapse Analytics;
- Understanding of semantic models and BI pipelines;
- Comfortable with validation scripts and APIs;
- Technical expertise including:
- • Synapse Pipelines, Linked Services, Spark Notebooks;
- • Azure Storage, Key Vault, Functions;
- • Advanced networking & security (VNet, Private Endpoints, Subnets);
- • ETL/ELT, Medallion architecture;
- • BI tools: Semantic Models, Gateways;
- • Scripting: PySpark, PowerShell, Bash;
- • API testing: Postman.
