Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all material-related activities for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works.
- Review and prepare MEP material submittals as per project requirements.
- Ensure all materials comply with specifications, international standards, and regulatory codes.
- Coordinate with procurement to secure timely delivery of approved materials.
- Follow up with suppliers and manufacturers for technical documents and certifications.
- Liaise with consultants and clients to obtain necessary approvals.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and installation of materials at site.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 5 to 10 Years of Experience
- Proven experience in material engineering for MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, low current, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, ISO, BS, etc.) and local codes.
- Experience in material approval workflows, documentation, and procurement coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Office and document control systems.
