Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all material-related activities for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works.
Review and prepare MEP material submittals as per project requirements.
Ensure all materials comply with specifications, international standards, and regulatory codes.
Coordinate with procurement to secure timely delivery of approved materials.
Follow up with suppliers and manufacturers for technical documents and certifications.
Liaise with consultants and clients to obtain necessary approvals.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and installation of materials at site.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
5 to 10 Years of Experience
Proven experience in material engineering for MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, low current, etc.)
Strong knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, ISO, BS, etc.) and local codes.
Experience in material approval workflows, documentation, and procurement coordination.
Proficiency in MS Office and document control systems.
Responsible for coordinating customer specifications and resolving technical problems in manufacturing. Implementing improvements and managing safety in a continuous manufacturing environment.
