- Take commercial responsibility for major capital investments across Alfa Laval Group
- Work closely with project managers, production engineers and factory managers
- Understand technical requirements and ensure right commercial conditions are in place
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers
- Act as commercial lead in investment projects
- Ensure quality, availability and total cost are balanced
- Collaborate with factories and technical project teams
- Challenge internal stakeholders and suppliers in thoughtful and solution-oriented way
Requirements
- Strong commercial mindset and a deep understanding of production processes
- Senior experience from purchasing or sourcing
- Exposure to manufacturing environments and production equipment
- Senior negotiator comfortable navigating complex, high-value projects
- Understanding of production engineering and investment cycles
- Ability to identify opportunities that others might overlook
- Clear and confident communication style
- Ability to build trust across technical and commercial functions
