About the role
- Historical Interpreter engaging visitors by leading tours and presenting educational programs about Alberta's history. Collaborating with a team and providing customer service while maintaining visitor facilities in various historic locations.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with a small team to lead tours of historic sites
- Participate in planning, development, and presentation of educational programs
- Coordinate craft and skill demonstrations
- Collect admission fees and visitor statistics
- Promote events and manage gift shop sales
- Maintain general order of visitor facilities
- Required to work weekends
- Occasional travel and off-site work may be required
Requirements
