About the role
- Junior SAP Inhouse Consultant at AIXTRON managing roles, user management, and system monitoring in SAP. Engaging in exciting projects and technical administration for semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities
- Design, administration and maintenance of SAP roles and authorizations (including in the Fiori environment) and execution of user management
- Responsible coordination, execution and documentation of SAP transports across the system landscape
- System monitoring (utilization, performance, error states) of SAP systems
- Development and implementation of backup and recovery strategies
- Connection and maintenance of interfaces (RFC, IDoc, web services, etc.)
- Technical support of SAP BTP, the C4C system and the Integration Suite including all interfaces
- Support in license management
- Point of contact for system-related questions during internal and external audits
- Active management and coordination of the services provided by our external hosting partner (e.g., system deployments, system copies, upgrades, patching, etc.)
Requirements
- Completed degree in (business) informatics, information technology or a comparable qualification
- Initial practical experience with SAP Basis administration or integration scenarios is an advantage (also as a working student or through internships)
- Technical understanding of system architecture, databases and networks
- Affinity for IT security, performance optimization and system stability
- Willingness to deepen knowledge of new SAP technologies (e.g., BTP, C4C, Integration Suite)
- Independent, structured working style combined with strong team skills
- Analytical ability and solution-oriented thinking
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
