About the role
- Security Engineer ensuring compliance with security requirements and protecting infrastructure at Aisle. Collaborating with product and engineering teams on security best practices.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and enterprise security requirements
- Deploy and manage internal security tools and monitoring systems to protect our infrastructure, code, and data
- Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling and recommend mitigations
- Partner with product and engineering teams to embed security best practices into development and operations
- Help define and execute incident response procedures to ensure we can detect, investigate, and respond effectively
- Act as a foundational member of our security team, helping to shape the culture, standards, and reputation of Aisle in the cybersecurity community
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in security engineering, security operations, or related roles in a B2B SaaS or cloud-native environments
- Strong understanding of cloud security practices (AWS, GCP, or Azure), identity management, and secure software development lifecycles
- Hands-on experience with security tooling (SIEM, EDR, IAM, vulnerability scanners, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance pragmatism and rigor in a fast-moving startup environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Bonus points for experience in incident response, penetration testing, public speaking or publishing papers
