About the role
- Digital & IT Financial Ops Controller overseeing financial accounting and reporting for Air Liquide. Supporting decision making and improving Digital & IT processes in the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage financial accounting, billing, reporting, transaction processing, and control activities of Digital & IT.
- Support Business and Digital & IT teams in their IT business model management (costing, pricing, depreciation, budget, re-forecast, value creation, etc).
- Ensure internal customers are billed for products and services provided to them according to agreed terms and conditions (pricing model).
- Report financial performance and support decision making by helping to predict and control Digital & IT spend.
- Help shape the strategic planning in close coordination with key stakeholders from finance, business and operations.
- Drive the improvement of processes and procedures within the Digital & IT teams to make interactions between teams seamless and effective.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related discipline
- 5+ years experience in two of the three areas: Business/Operations, Finance, IT, or Project Management
- Knowledge and understanding of Business process in the scope of WBL/WBU/Corporate Function 's activities
- Demonstrating knowledge of group financial and accounting principles and standards
- Strong understanding of the business supported (services sold, customers, cost structure, pricing, ongoing projects, efficiencies to generate...)
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills; Pedagogical and ability to conduct change management; Excellent facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills, including the ability to gain cross-departmental consensus.
