About the role

  • Underwriting Analyst managing cyber risk assessments for AIG with a focus on client communication and project participation. Ability to work in a flexible, digital environment with strong collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Risk assessment, underwriting and control of risks with a focus on cyber risks
  • Support in building and expanding the broker and client network
  • German- and English-language communication with brokers, clients and colleagues in the company’s international network
  • Preparation of policies; participation in underwriting meetings and telephone/video conferences
  • Participation in cross-functional project work

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Natural Sciences, (Business) Informatics/Computer Science, or a comparable field (international qualifications advantageous)
  • At least initial professional experience (e.g., internships) preferred, ideally in the insurance sector
  • Analytical skills and an understanding of mathematical calculations
  • Team player with a quick grasp of business topics and a decisive approach
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 10–20%)
