- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, high-performance middleware solutions using appropriate technologies (e.g., message queues, service buses, API gateways).
- Ensure all middleware solutions adhere to security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in implementing middleware or integration solutions
- Experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms (e.g., Jitterbit, MuleSoft, Adobe IO).
- Deep experience with enterprise messaging systems such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture and service mesh patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge to evaluate trade-offs between correctness, robustness, performance, space and time
- Practice in mentoring other engineers and influencing decision makers throughout the organization
- Consideration of customer impact when making technical decisions
