About the role
- Senior Software Engineer responsible for QA testing and automation for eCommerce solutions at Agilent. Collaborating with engineers and mentoring QA engineers to ensure effective test coverage.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team of engineers to deliver feature sets crucial to Revenue growth
- Design and develop comprehensive automation test scripts and frameworks for A/B testing and personalization workflows
- Collaborate with centralized testing team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Collaborate with the development team to understand product features and create effective test plans
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve them
- Mentor QA engineers to deliver better QA coverage and results
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant experience in QA and automation development
- Experience writing exceptional test cases in JIRA, Cucumber, etc.
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Experience with setting up test automation with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, React, Java
