About the role

  • Junior Financial Analyst in a hybrid role at Afya, managing finance for educational programs like FIES and PROUNI. Contributing to students' financial success and compliance oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of accounts receivable related to scholarships and student financing.
  • Make necessary financial adjustments to students' financial records.
  • Respond efficiently to colleges' requests via ticketing system, providing specialized support.
  • Validate awards of educational scholarships and public and private financing, ensuring compliance with rules and documentation.
  • Coordinate the enrollment and vacancy-offer process for programs such as FIES and PROUNI.
  • Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations established for these programs.
  • Collaborate in assessing the financial impact of scholarships and financing on the company's budget.
  • Prepare analyses and reports to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (completed or in progress).
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of educational programs such as FIES and PROUNI; experience with TOTVS RM, ServiceNow, and/or Salesforce.
  • Preferred experience in accounts receivable management or similar finance areas.
  • Previous experience in bank reconciliation.
  • Experience in the Education sector.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience managing financing.
  • Knowledge of Shared Service Center (SSC) routines.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement projects.
