About the role

• Responsible for developing educational strategies for online and in-person courses at Afya. Involves collaboration with specialists to ensure high-quality course content and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement instructional design strategies for online and in-person courses, ensuring an engaging and impactful learning experience for students;
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create relevant, high-quality course content, including text materials, video, audio, and interactive elements;
• Ensure that course user interfaces are intuitive, attractive, and easy to use, focusing on user experience and accessibility;
• Actively participate in the development process of new educational products and features, from conception to launch, contributing instructional design and UX insights;
• Efficiently manage schedules and resources to ensure timely project completion, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining clear, transparent communication;
• Schedule class recordings and delivery of supplementary materials with subject matter experts;
• Request, receive, and verify learning objects (lessons, flashcards, chapters, live sessions, etc.) submitted by instructors to ensure they meet the basic requirements defined by Instructional Design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (in progress or completed) in Pedagogy, Instructional Design, Business Administration, or related fields;
• Experience in developing instructional designs;
• Experience with content hierarchy and prioritization;
• Project management (Agile methodologies or PMO);
• Proficiency with LMS platforms and their core functionalities;
• UX/UI design and familiarity with user-centered design principles;
• Development of educational products.
