About the role
- Field Application Engineer for nuclear power plants with AEG Power Solutions. Responsible for customer requirements and product suitability assessments in the energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Receiving customer requirements
- Reviewing our products for suitability and applicability
- Advising customers and, where necessary, consulting with other departments
- Adjusting prices in coordination with the responsible Account Manager
- Coordinating schedules and delivery times with the relevant departments
- Preparing specification and proposal documentation and monitoring deadlines
- Following up on proposals and processing order awards in consultation with the responsible Account Manager
- Reviewing orders from both technical and commercial perspectives
- Forwarding orders to Project and Order Management or entering customer-specific purchase orders
- Tracking order processing and delivery schedules; developing alternative schedule solutions in case of deviations
- Handling customer claims for additional services or demands
- Organizing and conducting customer acceptance tests (FAT) when required
- Participating in customer acquisition activities and project meetings
- Staffing exhibition booth duties at events with AEG presence
- Preparing appropriate materials to support Account Managers
- Managing specific product groups and maintaining up-to-date documentation
- Providing commercial and technical sales support
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or equivalent from a University of Applied Sciences)
- Experience in a relevant industry, preferably including commercial experience
- Knowledge of products, applications and solutions for industrial power/energy systems
- Basic knowledge of contract law is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Visio and SAP
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
