About the role

• Senior DevOps Engineer managing cloud solutions at FORTE CLOUD. Handling deployment, migration, and integration while ensuring high quality and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Handle the implantation, deployment, migration, and integration of solutions on the cloud, ensuring successful delivery, high quality, and scalability of solutions.
• Apply cloud computing best practices to deploy different workloads on the cloud.
• Create automation scripts to deploy and manage applications and solutions on the cloud in all life cycle stages, practicing IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, DaaS and GitOps best practices.
• Participate with the Solution Architect team in the design activities for cloud solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor for the client in all aspects related to DevOps architecture implementation.
• Contribute to the wider DevOps practice through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and collaboration.
• Maintain FORTE CLOUD knowledge base

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• +5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with a focus on multi-cloud environments.
• Proficiency in AWS and Azure services.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Rancher is a huge plus.
• Strong familiarity with microservice architectures and best practices for running in a container orchestration environment.
• Good understanding of Containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration tools for release and deployment.
• Strong experience in Windows & Linux administration, performance monitoring, and debugging.
• Experience in server, and application-status monitoring using cloud native tools or 3rd party.
• Working knowledge of different database engines.
• Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery and other business continuity solutions.
• Experience with open-source tools and platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and virtual hosting technologies.
• At least 3x of public cloud certifications from AWS, Azure or GCP.
