About the role
- Senior Performance Tester enhancing Quality Assurance team at Adree by creating performance testing frameworks. Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to identify performance issues and recommend enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute detailed performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios for multiple applications.
- Leverage industry-standard performance testing tools, such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools, to analyze load capacity and performance metrics.
- Perform thorough analysis of performance test results to identify bottlenecks and provide actionable solutions.
- Work collaboratively with developers and product managers to understand system architecture and tailor performance tests accordingly.
- Monitor application performance in real-time and provide feedback on metrics such as response times and resource utilization.
- Produce comprehensive performance reports and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvements in performance testing methodologies and techniques.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on performance testing for at least 2 years.
- Expertise in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and metrics.
- Proficient in programming/scripting languages, including Java or Python.
- Experience with application profiling, monitoring tools, and your analysis.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
