Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans/schedules, track progress, and manage day-to-day project activities
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product, sourcing, manufacturing, and engineering to ensure alignment and timely execution of project activities
- Support the implementation of Agile and Waterfall methodologies within project teams
- Lead Project Team in developing project risk registers and monitor project risks and issues, escalating concerns as needed
- Facilitate regular team meetings and status updates to ensure transparency and accountability
- Ensure adherence to project management processes, phase gates, and documentation standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support KPI tracking and reporting
- Manage expectations properly and timely escalate deviations, risk and quality concerns in a constructive, solution-driven manner
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and any changes to the project plan
- Understands power electronics and software development to a level that you can lead and challenge the team
- Drive KPI compliance in the teams, including but not limited to phase gate compliance, productivity improvement, and zero quality (design) defect
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field or minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Experience with project management in electronics or software manufacturing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in an electronics or manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with product development life cycles and project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
- Strong understanding product development
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and task simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of project management tools and software
- Preferred:
- PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master certification
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of product development life cycle and design methodologies
- Knowledge of electronics and software development processes
