Responsibilities
Strategic growth and sales responsibility for DACH: As an initiator, you actively shape the growth strategy for our ANI brands in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and — in close coordination with the Director of Sales — are responsible for the strategic development of the sales organization.
Operational management of key sales channels: You take operational responsibility for grocery retail, convenience, drugstores and sporting goods channels in the DACH region and drive the development of these channels in a targeted, results-driven manner.
Team leadership & development: You lead a team of six Key Account Managers with clear goal orientation, a role-model approach and entrepreneurial thinking, creating a high-performance, motivating work environment.
Customer, distribution & brand development: You develop sustainable customer and distribution strategies, identify market and revenue opportunities, close distribution gaps, find new channels and customers, and ensure strong activation of our brands at the point of sale.
Budget, forecast & performance accountability: You are responsible for budget and forecast planning across the markets and continuously monitor sales and revenue performance.
Requirements
Qualifications & practical sales experience: You hold a degree in business administration or a comparable qualification and bring several years of relevant sales experience in the food retail sector — ideally in grocery retail, convenience, snacking or sports nutrition.
Leadership skills: You have several years of experience managing sales teams, set clear objectives, provide direction and know how to promote and consistently demand performance.
Sales expertise: You have cross-country, customer- and channel-spanning sales experience and navigate confidently within complex sales structures across the DACH region.
Soft skills & commercial mindset: You act in a results-oriented, pragmatic and efficient manner, set clear priorities (80/20) and bring a strong commercial mindset at the interface of marketing and sales.
Language skills: You have business-fluent German and proficiency in English.
