About the role
- Manage Accounting team at Active Nutrition ensuring financial reporting, compliance, and team development. Lead financial operations, reporting, and payroll processes across multiple countries.
Responsibilities
- You will take on the professional and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team and ensure efficient collaboration and the continued development of team members
- You are responsible for proper accounting in accordance with HGB as well as the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns across multiple countries
- You will handle the monthly reporting under US GAAP for our parent company and ensure compliance with SOX controls
- You will manage cash planning and payment transactions
- You are responsible for organizing and executing monthly payroll and payment processing in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Requirements
- You have a degree in business administration or a commercial vocational qualification, plus further training as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant), and bring solid professional experience in international accounting standards, tax law and financial accounting
- You have prior experience as a team lead in an accounting environment or are looking to take the next step into a leadership role
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (Infor is an advantage), ideally with key-user experience in an ERP implementation project
- You work independently, have the drive to take initiative, and are solution- and goal-oriented
- Business-fluent German and professional proficiency in English.
