Responsibilities
Provide clarification on coverage, limits, and timeframes;
Coordinate authorizations for medical and hospital care, ensuring compliance with insurers' requirements;
Work on patient transfers (removals) in coordination with the medical team;
Recommend medical and hospital providers within the beneficiary's plan network;
Advise on prior authorization for reimbursements and reimbursement deadlines;
Liaise with clients in cases of unpaid invoices;
Monitor payment and unlocking of services;
Request extensions for due dates;
Direct the internal operations team regarding requests for duplicate invoices;
Contact the cardholder to pick up or deliver documents;
Send a checklist of documents required by the insurer;
Notify clients about outstanding documents;
Provide guidance on funeral and travel assistance procedures;
Record all interactions performed;
Requirements
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word; intermediate Excel);
Essential to have knowledge of benefits operational routines;
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
