Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the design and engineering of the complete mechanical systems of our products and components
- Active participation in product design and the further development of existing solutions
- Creation of 3D models, technical drawings, assembly and manufacturing documentation
- Ensuring smooth processes through close cooperation with R&D, Purchasing, Technology, Production and external manufacturers
- Production of customer prototypes and support for technical request-for-quote processes
- Maintenance of part master data and creation of bills of materials in the ERP system proAlpha
- Implementation of innovative mechanical solutions from concept to finished production
- Independent organization and coordination of all design tasks within the team
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree (technical college/university) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable program with a focus on design, or equivalent qualification through relevant professional experience
- Excellent skills in the CAD system AutoDesk Inventor
- Confident user of MS Office
- Structured, independent and team-oriented working style
- Good written and spoken English skills
