About the role
- Project Management expert coordinating product lifecycle within Chiesi's R&D initiatives. Managing cross-functional teams and developing integrated plans for product development and execution.
Responsibilities
- Subject matter expert of Project management affecting product lifecycle coordination
- Responsible for project team coordination and translating project strategy into integrated plans
- Develop and update an integrated cross-functional project plan
- Coordinate team to define risk profile and mitigation actions
- Support budget definition and monitor project spending
- Facilitate project governance and maintain key documentation
- Identify roadblocks, drive consensus, and enable decision-making
- Build and support an empowered project team with feedback and support
- Define project objectives, scope, milestones, priorities, and roles & responsibilities
- Translate strategic options into feasible development plans
- Track project progress and communicate status to stakeholders
- Collaborate with Alliance Management on partnership projects
- Promote project management culture, tools, and lean processes
Requirements
- Degree in Life Sciences, Economics, or Management/Engineering-related disciplines
- International Project Management certification preferred (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, ideally including new product development
- Proven ability to work in highly matrixed organizations and manage cross-functional, multicultural teams
- Strong leadership in team dynamics and discussions
- Excellent influencing and consensus-building skills
- Extensive experience with project management tools and processes
- Ability to synthesize complex inputs and drive critical decisions to recommend solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including executive-level written and oral communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Planisware; knowledge of other project management software is a plus
