About the role
- Senior Security Engineer designing high-scale security data pipelines and platforms in AI-driven healthcare. Collaborating cross-functionally to integrate security seamlessly in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate high-scale data pipelines to ingest, normalize, and enrich security telemetry.
- Develop and maintain self-service platforms that allow security teams to manage secrets, identity perimeters, and security guardrails at scale.
- Write production-grade services to automate complex security workflows.
- Establish automated security guardrails and golden path modules that ensure our cloud resources are secure by default.
- Partner with platform and product engineering to integrate security requirements into the developer lifecycle.
- Influence the selection of our security stack and establishing the engineering standards for a growing team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years of infrastructure-as-code experience in a cloud-first organization.
- You are a software or systems engineer who has spent years building in cloud-native environments (GCP or AWS).
- Experience designing for high availability and scale.
- Expert proficiency in at least one modern general-purpose language (Python is a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to drive large, cross-functional technical projects.
- You have a bias for action and a knack for navigating ambiguity.
