Responsibilities
- You are highly experienced in the development and operation of OpenStack platforms
- Support the delivery of innovative, tailored IT services
- Implement, operate and further develop our cloud services
- Design and operate public and private cloud platforms based on OpenStack
- Perform problem and fault analyses
- Develop sustainable solutions
- Operate Ceph-based storage clusters using cephadm
- Contribute to the orchestration of all services in our infrastructure using Ansible
- Regular participation in the on-call duty roster
Requirements
- Completed education in computer science (HF/FH or federal diploma) or an equivalent qualification
- At least two years of practical experience operating OpenStack
- Ideally experience with Kolla containers and OpenStack services such as Keystone, Glance, Cinder, Nova, Neutron, Octavia, Designate, Heat, Swift, Barbican, Manila and Masakari
- Regular experience with a variety of Linux distributions
- Solid hands-on experience with networking technologies such as BGP, DNS, NTP, load balancing and overlay networks using OVS or OVN
- Comprehensive knowledge of container technologies such as Docker or Podman
- Experience operating SQL databases
- Familiarity with Ceph, ideally with cephadm and RGW
- Prior experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation
- Very good German and English language skills
