About the role

  • Dealer Sales Manager driving revenue growth within dealer network at Generac. Developing strategies, cultivating partnerships, and collaborating cross-functionally for market success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead comprehensive sales and channel strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Identify, recruit, and negotiate partnerships with high-potential dealers.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key dealer partners.
  • Coach and enable dealer sales teams through training and performance optimization initiatives.
  • Leverage market analytics to evaluate performance and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and insights for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, finance teams.
  • Drive go-to-market initiatives and promotional campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) years account management and/or business planning experience
  • Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Skilled in analyzing market trends, assessing dealer performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced in using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Skilled in delivering impactful product and sales training to dealer teams
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management skills.
