About the role

  • Tax Assistant role focusing on financial statement audits and tax declaration preparation for clients. Involves direct client interaction and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Audit of annual and consolidated financial statements
  • Participation in tax and business advisory services
  • Preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns for corporations and partnerships
  • Preparation of tax returns and income-surplus statements (EÜR)
  • Handling client inquiries across all areas of tax law
  • Preparation of financial accounting and payroll accounting
  • Direct contact with our clients

Requirements

  • Completed degree in economics/business administration or vocational training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte), certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or tax specialist (Steuerfachwirt) — or equivalent qualification
  • Initial experience from internships or firm / auditor-related jobs
  • Familiarity with DATEV & Unternehmen Online
  • Excellent German, written and spoken
