Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments and proofs of concept (PoC), validating the feasibility of new AI technologies for adoption in projects;
- Gather and interpret requirements from business areas to propose AI-based solutions;
- Develop supervised and unsupervised machine learning models, focusing on classification, regression, clustering, NLP, etc.;
- Implement and test generative AI models using APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or AWS Bedrock;
- Apply best practices for versioning, documentation, and reproducibility of models;
- Develop Python scripts for data preprocessing, model training, and system integration;
- Participate in discussions on vendor evaluation, tools, and AI frameworks;
- Monitor model performance metrics and propose adjustments based on data;
- Support the development of proofs of concept (PoCs) and scalable solutions;
- Contribute to building the organization’s data and AI culture by sharing learnings and new ideas;
- Support the development team by providing guidance on best practices, frameworks, and tools, and by directly implementing solutions when needed;
- Keep up with trends and innovations in the field of AI, proposing continuous improvements and new application opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology;
- Experience in the data field and strong proficiency in Python;
- Ability to consume and integrate AI APIs;
- Knowledge of computer systems and programming languages, SQL, Big Data, and Data Warehouse concepts across areas such as Analysis, Design, ETL, Reporting, and Dashboards;
- Experience with platforms such as Google Vertex AI, Azure AI, or AWS Bedrock;
- Awareness of AI ethics and data security.
