About the role

  • **What You’ll Do**
  • **Unit8** is welcoming young talents for the opportunity to grow in **Data and Software Engineering!! ** Join us for a 6 month first paid professional experience in building industrial Data and AI solutions. You can start asap, with direct exposure to clients' needs and opportunities to participate in learning activities such as Reading Groups and Knowledge Sharing Sessions. In addition, each young talent will be accompanied by a dedicated wingmate/mentor who will guide and help them building their technical growth vision.
  • **In general you will:**
  • use software best practices in continuous integration and delivery, versioning and automation;
  • use your skills to build and maintain service and data infrastructure;
  • participate as junior engineer in all phases of the software development life cycle - planning, implementation, deployment, testing and maintenance;

Requirements

  • **Are You the team member we are looking for?**
  • In order to be successful in this role, you are/have:
  • motivated and eager to learn different aspects of engineering
  • comfortable interacting with technical and business people
  • strong communication and presentation skills
  • recently graduated/finishing your MSc or BSc in Computer Science or related major;
  • familiar with version control and collaboration tooling (git)
  • familiar with CI/CD frameworks and automated deployment concepts (i.e Docker, K8s)
  • fluent in English, with French and German as an added advantage
  • available for a minimum of 32h a week.
