- Video Editor creating engaging TikTok and Meta content for a startup in Germany. Collaborating directly with the CEO and utilizing high-quality equipment in a hybrid setup.
Responsibilities
- Shooting short videos in Frankfurt; equipment provided
- Editing in CapCut or similar: clean pacing, transitions, music, captions and text overlays
- Executing provided scripts and offering sensible suggestions for the hook, opening line and call to action
- Creating variants for testing, e.g., two to three hook versions per clip
- Platform-appropriate exports and file naming for TikTok, Instagram and Meta
- Upload preparation including subtitles and thumbnails when required
- Collaborating in a hybrid setup with fast feedback loops
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in media, communication, design or similar — advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrable hands-on experience filming and editing TikToks or Reels; please provide work samples
- Confident use of CapCut; experience with Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is a plus
- Strong sense for hooks, timing, story flow and precise text overlays
- Very good German; English is a plus
- Reliable, independent work style with fast delivery times
