About the role

  • Creative Video Producer leading short-form video production for direct-to-consumer brands at Creative Milkshake in Amsterdam. Focused on content performance across TikTok and Instagram in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ideate, shoot, and produce standout short-form content built for paid social — the kind that grabs attention and drives results.
  • Lead the full production process from start to finish: reviewing briefs and storyboards, building shot lists, sourcing props, scheduling shoots, and managing budgets.
  • Direct talent on set with clarity and confidence, capturing content that feels natural, fun, and highly engaging.
  • Make smart calls on final shots to use — you know what deserves the final cut and what can hit the cutting room floor.
  • Collaborate closely with creative strategists and video editors to shape content that nails both the brief and the creative vision.
  • Communicate proactively with Account Managers to flag roadblocks, solve issues, and keep everything moving smoothly.
  • Own the logistics: scheduling, shot lists, props, budgets, timelines — all the puzzle pieces that keep a shoot on track.
  • Confidently manage multiple shoots and production sets with precision and calm under pressure.
  • Solve problems on the fly when things (inevitably) shift on set.
  • Keep open, timely communication with all creative teams to ensure shoots are planned and prepped well in advance.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on TikTok and Instagram, from trends and formats to creator styles and cultural shifts.
  • Bring fresh, platform-smart ideas into every shoot to create content that will perform.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience producing short-form content for brands, agencies, or studios.
  • Confidence leading shoots from start to finish: talent direction, timing, shot lists, and ensuring it’s aligned with the storyboards.
  • A strong balance of creative vision and executional precision — you get the shots we need, on time and on brief.
  • The ability to manage multiple briefs, shot lists, and production sets, staying calm under pressure and quick on your feet when plans change.
  • Clear, thoughtful communication across creative, production, and client-facing teams.
  • A high level of organization and consistency — you’ve got an eye for the details and take full ownership of your work.
  • Curiosity and awareness of what's trending across TikTok, Instagram, and the wider social media space — you stay plugged in.
  • Availability to be on-site at our studio from 8AM–5PM, Monday to Friday.
