About the role
- Water Wastewater Project Engineer overseeing technical expertise inwater treatment engineering. Leading projects and mentoring engineers in design, analysis, and construction phases.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to our team of highly skilled engineers.
- Evaluate, plan, design, permit and support management of projects for water/wastewater and conveyance.
- Support professional engineering services during construction: construction observation, review of shop drawings.
- Overseeing the development of design calculations, technical report sections, technical design drawings, and specifications.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials while actively participating in client meetings.
- Maintaining quality, health, and safety standards are paramount responsibilities.
- Facilitating coordination for timely project completion within budget constraints is essential to meet project milestones.
Requirements
- 8 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or a related field of study.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License.
- 10 years of relevant water/wastewater experience.
- Master of Science/Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field of study.
- Experience in design or consulting engineering or Municipal work environment.
- Project task leadership experience including managing overall project delivery expectations, prioritizing tasks, and mentoring.
- Active participation in regional and/or national professional association(s).
