About the role

  • Define and execute the company-wide data strategy aligned with business goals
  • Build and lead cross-functional data teams to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making
  • Collaborate with senior technical and business leadership to identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvement
  • Ensure scalable, global data solutions that uphold high standards of quality, integrity, and accessibility across the enterprise
  • Build platforms and analytics to answer business questions, support product innovation, and deepen client understanding
  • Champion AI and data literacy across the organization
  • Oversee sub-teams including Business Intelligence, AI Center of Excellence, Quantitative Research, Analytics Engineering, and Client Engagement Software
  • Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Work with systems owners and Data Pipeline Engineering to obtain new data sources

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in technical fields or analytical fields such as Financial Math, Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering
  • 15+ years in analytics/technology in Financial Markets, including 10+ years in leadership
  • Deep expertise in cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake) and analytics tools (e.g. Sigma, SageMaker)
  • Expertise in analyzing Options, Futures and Equities market data
  • Experience adopting and deploying enterprise-wide AI solutions
  • Experience reviewing technical solutions and code (e.g. SQL, Python)
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing data teams
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Deep understanding of how data interacts across systems, teams, and business processes to uncover insights, anticipate needs and drive enterprise-wide decision making
