Responsibilities
- Architect, operate, secure, and continuously evolve shared technology platforms.
- Ensure platforms are secure, scalable, highly available, compliant, cost-efficient, and responsive to business needs.
- Foster innovation, efficiency, and consistency in technology platforms.
- Collaborate with product engineering, operations, finance, security, and business stakeholders.
- Oversee development and operation of core platform services (DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring), ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage vendor relationships and platform integrations.
- Lead and develop platform engineering and operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least 12 years working in software engineering, platform, infrastructure, or operations roles.
- Minimum of 10 years in senior leadership positions (such as Director, Senior Director, or Vice President).
- Demonstrated success in building and operating large-scale platforms and shared services.
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containerization, orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes), observability, and reliability engineering.
- Familiarity with service-oriented architecture, API gateways, event-driven systems, data platforms, identity and authentication systems, infrastructure as code.
- Experience in budgeting, resource planning, and managing vendor relationships.
- Proven ability to work with engineering and operations teams across multiple regions.
