About the role

  • UX Designer driving user research and experience design for B-Stock's B2B platform. Leading user-centric solutions and collaborating with teams on intuitive design implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead user research initiatives: Plan, conduct, and analyze user interviews, surveys, usability tests, and other research methods to understand user needs and behaviors
  • User journey mapping: Create detailed user flows, journey maps, and information architecture to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
  • End user interaction: Effectively communicate and engage with end users during research sessions, interviews, and feedback collection to understand their needs and pain points
  • Design and prototype: Create wireframes, user flows, and low to mid-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate user experience concepts for validation
  • Data analysis: Analyze user behavior data, research findings, and usability metrics to inform design decisions and measure experience improvements
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, marketing, and other stakeholders to translate user insights into actionable product requirements
  • Leverage emerging tools: Explore and experiment with AI-powered design and research tools to streamline workflows and enhance user research capabilities
  • Research synthesis: Document and present research findings, user personas, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
  • Usability testing: Design and conduct usability tests to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement
  • Continuous learning: Stay current with UX research methodologies, user testing best practices, and emerging research technologies

Requirements

  • 2+ years of UX design experience with demonstrated focus on user research and experience design, preferably with B2B, SaaS, or e-commerce products.
  • BA/BS/MS degree in Human Computer interaction, Human Factors, User Interface Design, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Cognitive Psychology, or related field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX research process, user-centered design approach, and research-driven design decisions with measurable outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of industry tools: Sketch, Figma, InVision, Balsamiq, Adobe XD, or equivalent.
