About the role

  • Oversee an underwriting support team as the primary contact for underwriters and agents.
  • Provide administrative and technical support to agents, sales, and underwriters.
  • Develop procedures and processes to ensure team adherence.
  • Provide technical expertise in handling customer service issues or complaints.
  • Analyze, create, and evaluate internal reports to prevent errors.
  • Monitor sales and underwriting feedback on support issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience; bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Sentry's Regional independent agency distribution model.
  • Knowledge of commercial markets and underwriting principles.
  • Strong ability to provide leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and human relations skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement solutions.
