About the role
- UI/UX Designer contributing to the visual and user experience of Disney's streaming platform. Working collaboratively to enhance user experience through innovative artwork design.
Responsibilities
- Ideate and concept creative ways to leverage artwork in innovative and unexpected ways
- Regularly receive and provide creative feedback to guide early concepts and polish final executions
- Coordinate with program managers to kickoff, progress, and deliver creative projects
- Communicate creative concepts, aesthetic choices, and visual execution effectively with peers
- Champion artwork design to improve and drive audience engagement
- Maintain a solid understanding of product design specifications and guidelines
- Collaborate and build strong working relationships across The Walt Disney Company
Requirements
- Proven understanding of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Process-driven and extremely detail-oriented
- Self-motivated problem solver and great communicator
- Strong work ethic, reliable, adaptable, and work well with others
- Curiosity about and aptitude for learning new technologies and design skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and analytical thinking
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch with ease in a fast-paced, and ever-evolving organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
