About the role
- Test Engineer ensuring the quality of eClear’s solutions through automated testing and collaboration with development teams. Working in hybrid environments to enhance product reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- You comprehensively test new features and functionalities with a focus on stability, scalability, and user behavior
- You develop and automate test scenarios and integrate them into our CI/CD pipelines
- You analyze test results, identify weaknesses, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
- You use tools such as Selenium, RestAssured, or Postman to design and execute frontend, backend, and API tests
- You incorporate customer feedback into test design, linking technical testing with real user perspectives
- You support the continuous improvement of the test strategy and actively drive QA automation forward
Requirements
- A completed technical degree and at least 5 years of experience in testing or software quality
- Hands-on experience automating complex test environments, especially in the interaction of web applications and APIs
- Good knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
- Practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitLab Duo, GitHub Copilot)
- Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and modern DevOps environments
- Structured, analytical mindset and a strong quality focus
- Excellent German language skills, written and spoken (at least C1)
- Very good English skills (at least B2) complete your profile
- ISTQB certification and experience with load or performance testing (e.g., JMeter) are a plus
