About the role
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software projects.
- Define project scope, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Manage cross-functional teams including developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance, mitigate risks, and resolve issues.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure transparency with regular progress updates.
- Design and review system architecture aligned with business goals and scalability requirements.
- Make critical decisions regarding technology stack, design patterns, and third-party integrations.
- Guide teams in adopting engineering best practices, coding standards, and design principles.
- Review and approve technical specifications, solution architecture, and design documents.
- Act as the technical point of contact between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, solutioning sessions, and architecture reviews.
- Mentor developers and junior architects on system design, technical decisions, and career growth.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business needs into technical deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in technical leadership or architecture roles.
- 3+ years of experience in project management using Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodologies.
- Proven experience designing distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
- Hands-on experience with [Microservices architecture, Node.js, Next, React, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes].
- Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or equivalents.
- Project Management Certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar) is nice to have.
- Architecture Certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, etc.) is nice to have.
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is nice to have.
