Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care up to 50% of scheduled hours
- Demonstrates advanced clinical practice in Occupational therapy
- Leads patient care teams and represents the department on hospital wide and/or community-based committees
- Models evidence based clinical care and leads staff with performing research endeavors
- Assists management with ordering and tracking therapeutic supplies and expenses
- Completes performance appraisals to assigned staff
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in Occupational therapy
- Minimum of 5 years experience in pediatric occupational therapy
- Current State of Connecticut Occupational Therapist licensure required
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR in adult, child & infant is required
