About the role

  • Provide direct patient care up to 50% of scheduled hours
  • Demonstrates advanced clinical practice in Occupational therapy
  • Leads patient care teams and represents the department on hospital wide and/or community-based committees
  • Models evidence based clinical care and leads staff with performing research endeavors
  • Assists management with ordering and tracking therapeutic supplies and expenses
  • Completes performance appraisals to assigned staff

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Occupational therapy
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in pediatric occupational therapy
  • Current State of Connecticut Occupational Therapist licensure required
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR in adult, child & infant is required
