About the role

• Systems Engineer supporting and scaling FOX’s infrastructure and cloud platforms. Working on initiatives in media pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud transformation.

Responsibilities

• Build, support, and scale FOX’s AWS-based infrastructure
• Manage and provision infrastructure using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Migrate legacy systems and services from on-premise data centers to cloud environments
• Lead enterprise IT infrastructure projects and collaborate across multiple teams
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and recovery procedures
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across hybrid cloud and on-prem platforms
• Partner with developers to improve CI/CD pipelines and operational workflows
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Hands-on experience leading and managing enterprise IT infrastructure projects
• Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Demonstrated ability to migrate systems from on-prem to cloud environments
• Proficient in virtualization platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix)
• Expertise with Windows and Linux systems, including CLI tools and automation
• Deep knowledge of enterprise environments: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and multi-domain structures
• Scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python for automation and operational efficiency
• Experience implementing enterprise backup and endpoint protection tools (e.g., Veeam, Rubrik, CrowdStrike, SCCM, Tanium)
• Strong understanding of network protocols and architecture (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, segmentation)
• Proficiency with authentication and identity federation protocols (AD, LDAP, SAML, OIDC, Okta)
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and contribute to day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
