Supply Chain Manager overseeing international suppliers in operations for baby tech company Nanit. Responsible for managing production, logistics, and supplier relationships while ensuring efficiency.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison with select overseas manufacturers, managing daily communications and maintaining strong relationships
Monitor production schedules, identify potential delays, and escalate risks to the Director of Supply Chain
Coordinate shipping logistics, including booking freight, confirming documentation, and ensuring timely PO pick-ups and deliveries
Work closely with suppliers to ensure raw material and componentry availability to support procurement timelines and avoid production disruptions
Enter and manage manufacturer purchase orders in NetSuite and ensure alignment across internal systems
Adjust production schedules as needed to balance inventory availability with demand, minimizing excess and aged stock
Maintain visibility into the status of inbound shipments, resolve delays, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Co-lead Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SiOP) meetings to align supply with business forecasts
Support the continuous improvement of international supply chain processes, vendor performance, and cost efficiency
Handle International Sales Team requests as needed for information required from vendors
Requirements
5+ years of experience in supply chain operations with a strong emphasis on overseas manufacturing and logistics
Demonstrated success managing supplier relationships across Asia or other international regions
Working knowledge of manufacturing and product development processes, particularly in textiles and consumer electronics
Familiarity with international shipping practices, freight forwarding, and customs processes
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for tracking and analysis
Experience with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
Clear, professional communication skills with experience navigating time zone differences and cultural nuances
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
