About the role
- Work within our global team to support processing, maintaining and managing customer and product data.
- Build relationships with our external customers and strive to meet customer needs.
- Receive, review and understand product data packages from our external customers.
- Complete bill of material, component and assembly data set up within Celestica's internal databases to enable material procurement and manufacturing.
- Communicate with external customers to resolve missing and/or inaccurate data.
- Work is guided by detailed instructions, routine, procedure and under close supervision.
- Will receive detailed instructions on all work assignments.
- Work autonomously once proficiency in the tasks is achieved.
- Opportunity on more complex duties and projects as proficiency is gained.
- Gain global and supply chain experience within a diverse industry environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a University Internship program completing 3rd year of a 4-year program.
- Enrolled in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Computer), Data Management, or Business/Commerce.
- Strong analytic capabilities
- Ability to learn quickly & has a willingness to learn
- Ability to work within a large team
- Strong Communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Suite
- Working knowledge of Spreadsheets and Databases
- Project management skills are an asset
- Knowledge of German, French, or Chinese would be an asset
