Strategic Sourcing Business Analyst handling reporting and analysis related to material costs at NFI Group. Collaborating with the Sourcing team to support compliance and project initiatives.
Responsibilities
Prepare management reporting and analysis as requested or required to support Sourcing leadership in carrying out duties across the NFI Group Inc.
Coordinate and generate data and analysis to support purchase price variance/material cost control analysis, and contract margin analysis and investigations
Coordinate and generate data and analysis to support financial forecasts and budget requirements as they relate to material cost inflation, surcharges, savings projects and rebates
Coordinate and generate data and analysis to support compliance activities including but not limited to: Customs (USMCA), Buy America, Buy Canada, etc.
Maintain the Compliance registry for NFI Group Supply Management (key legal and other recurring compliance requirements)
Assist in coordination of the Supplier Risk Management process and reporting across the NFI Group.
Facilitate, and coordinate selected sourcing process improvements, activities and projects as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business (or equivalent), education or equivalent experience in supply chain management, procurement, or finance is an asset
Prior experience with general Supply Management process and procedures
Knowledge of financial statements and accounting practices to effectively prepare forecasts, budgets, and other reports of Sourcing performance
Prior experience with strategic sourcing activities and Supplier Relationship Management practices
Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP system data management
Experience with Oracle, SQL, and Power BI is an asset
Excellent attention to detail to produce accurate information
