About the role
- Build, implement and improve architecture and performance of large-scale distributed systems
- Design and build backend authentication and user profile management services to ensure stability and high-performance
- Build CI/CD pipelines
- Develop tools to automate tasks, resolve bottlenecks, and improve scalability and reliability
- Work hand in hand with engineers to steer and influence product and technical direction
Requirements
- A strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, etc.
- Proficient Java is preferred
- 8 + years of experience in cloud development
- Experience building and scaling large distributed systems and cloud computing with AWS & Azure
- Previous experience in IAM such as SAML, OAuth, any entitlement software, and user profile management (bonus)
- Experience developing infrastructure as code automation using Terraform
- Deep understanding of Containers, Docker, EKS, Kubernetes
- Experience building CI with Jenkins/ Cloudbees
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Splunk
- Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure solutions (security, storage, networking, databases)
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or similar
