Responsibilities
- lead the development and delivery of scalable platform capabilities
- maintain a comprehensive and accurate record of all software assets across the organization
- ensure the company adheres to all software license terms and conditions to avoid legal and financial risks
- monitor how software is being used to identify underutilized or redundant software
- oversee the software from its purchase and installation to its eventual retirement or migration to new versions
- understand software development lifecycles and the technical needs of the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- familiarity with software asset management (SAM) tools, like Flexera and Zylo
- Proven expertise in software development lifecycle including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture principles such as microservices, containers, and automation
- Experience with AI/ML integration using languages like Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions following best practices
- Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Puppet and software packaging tools like Flexera AdminStudio
- Knowledge of ITAM and IT Service Management
- Practical experience navigating and addressing internal and external compliance audits
