About the role
- Specialist Security Advisor focusing on securing cloud environments and systems at Intact. Collaborating with teams to enhance multi-cloud security posture and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide architecture guidance for secure cloud solutions across Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments, ensuring alignment with industry frameworks and organizational security standards
- Lead cloud architecture solution reviews, providing strategic guidance to engineering teams on security-by-design principles and best practices for cloud-native applications
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and security evaluations, delivering actionable insights that strengthen our multi-cloud security posture
- Develop enterprise-wide security frameworks for cloud deployment, configuration management, and governance, establishing standards that scale across the organization
- Drive security innovation by evaluating emerging cloud security threats, AI security considerations, and proactive defense strategies to safeguard cloud infrastructure
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in deploying security controls and platform content across cloud environments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security or cloud architecture roles with demonstrated success securing enterprise cloud environments
- Deep expertise in Azure and GCP security architecture, with strong knowledge of multi-cloud and hybrid cloud security patterns
- Proficiency with cloud security tooling: IAM, cloud firewalls, encryption, CSPM, CASB, and work security controls
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, CIS, GDPR)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders
- Proven ability to create comprehensive security documentation, standards, and procedures
- Relevant certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent
- Experience securing AI/ML workloads and understanding of AI security considerations in cloud environments
- Experience with cloud-native application security and DevSecOps practices
- Bilingualism (French and English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
