Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing one of our Responsible Gaming teams
- Involved with all aspects of the SDLC from planning to production support
- Coaching, mentoring and assessing the performance of software engineers
- Collaborate with other managers to drive delivery and solve complex problems.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Apply software engineering knowledge to help stakeholders understand the delivery process.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, optimize, or extend solutions for the best outcomes.
- Mentor and develop engineers, creating a tailored and positive employee experience.
Requirements
- Experience managing teams across the full software development lifecycle, from planning to production support.
- Strong background in coaching, mentoring, and assessing the performance of software engineers at different levels.
- Hands-on development experience with development technologies such as Java or Python, and experience with cloud tech such as AWS
- Experience of writing distributed highly scalable and available backend systems & APIs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate globally.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
- Demonstrated abilities driving operational excellence and best practices
- Demonstrated experience in shipping high quality products and services
- Able to communicate technical concepts simply and successfully, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
